Individual Build Opportunities

Saturday
Build Opportunity:

So, what’s in store for you? Saturdays are an opportunity for
builders of any level of experience to come out and get their hands dirty, and
learn hands on skills in the home building process! Your work helps support our
prospective homeowners in making the next steps towards completing their
affordable housing journey. The best part? On Saturdays, you’ll be working side
by side with those prospective homeowners, helping them build their own homes!

Things to note: No experience needed. Safety Hard hats, safety goggles,
masks, gloves, and other safety-related gear will be supplied on site. No one
under the age of 16 is allowed on site.  We recommend that you dress
appropriately for the weather and wear clothes that you don’t mind getting
dirty. Must have closed toed/hard sole (sneakers/ hiking boots, etc.) shoes, or
you will not be allowed at the build site. Please plan to either bring your own
lunch/ grab something local. Please bring a reusable water bottle if possible.

Please be aware, as this event occurs on an as needed basis, there
may be instances where we have to cancel a Saturday due to lack of work or
volunteer sign ups. You will be told in advance and you are welcome to sign up
for the next available shift.

Bonus: One Saturday every month is reserved as a Women's Build
Saturday with our Construction Manager Rachel!
